Carved and Slip Decorated Ceramic Cups

Carved marks, linear textures, and slip decoration give Clay Impressions its character. The collection brings together hand-shaped and wheel-thrown ceramic cups, from pale surfaces with incised details to contrasting bands of color. Each design draws attention to the way a cup is formed and its surface worked, making texture and layered decoration central to the collection.
